Pneumatic wafer type triple eccentric butterfly valve is one wafer triple eccentric butterfly valve which is operated by pneumatic actuator, is mainly used for water, air, gas, steam pipelines, to cut off, or adjust the flow. During the opening and closing process of the disc of wafer type pneumatic triple eccentric butterfly valve, there is no sliding friction and jamming between the disc sealing ring and the sealing surface of the valve seat. The pressure angle on the sealing surface is greater than the friction angle. “Radial dynamic balance sealing system” design makes the opening resistance of the triple eccentric butterfly valve disc extremely low. During the opening and closing process, the sealing surface of the butterfly plate of the triple eccentric butterfly valve can be closed quickly and instantly along the 360° fillet, point by point contact and point by point separation. When the seal is opened, it is separated, and the sealing action that automatically matches the closing contact can be realized quickly and accurately.

Sealing principle of wafer type pneumatic triple eccentric butterfly valve

When the pneumatic triple eccentric butterfly valve is fully opened, its valve plate sealing surface will be completely separated from the valve seat sealing surface, and a gap Y, which is the same as that of the double eccentric sealing butterfly valve, is formed between the valve plate sealing surface and the valve seat sealing surface. Due to the formation of the β offset angle, on the large and small semicircles of the valve plate rotating with the long and short radii, the tangent of the rotation trajectory of the sealing surface of the valve plate of the pneumatic triple eccentric butterfly valve and the sealing surface of the valve seat form angle 1 and angle 2, so that when the valve plate opens and closes, the sealing surface gradually enters and presses to the sealing surface of the valve seat, which thereby completely eliminates the mechanical wear and scratches between the two sealing surfaces of the sealing pair when the valve plate is open and closed.
