Where industrial valves are used

Check valve, also called one way valve, non return valve, back pressure valve, cut off valve, is one kind of automatic industrial valve, which is widely used in various industrial pipeline systems to prevent the back flow of the medium. Check valves can be divided into lifting type check valve, swing type check valve, butterfly type check valve(also called wafer type check valve), according to their structural differences. Check valve can be made of various materials, like stainless steel, ductile cast iron, WCB, forge steel, cast steel, etc. For each check valve, they have one model no to represent one series of check valve, like H76X represents the wafer butterfly dual door check valve, H44H represents the swing check valve, today lets learn more about what kind of check valve those model no represents:

HH is for Micro resistance slow closing check valve; 

BH is for heat insulation check valve; 

HQ is for rolling ball check valve.

⑵check valve connection:4 is for flange connection、6 means welded connection、7 is wafer type connection;

⑶check valve structural type :1 is for lifting type check valve、2 means vertical check valve、4 is swing check valve、6 double door check valve、8 means butterfly type check valve;

⑷check valve sealing methods:B means the sealing material for that check valve is Babbitt metal; F means the sealing material for that check valve is fluoro-plastics; H means the sealing material for that check valve is stainless steel; M means the sealing material for that check valve is Monel Alloy; X means the sealing material for that check valve is rubber; Y means the sealing material for that check valve is hard metal; W means the sealing of that check valve is processed directly;

⑸check valve pressure:16 means the nominal pressure for that check valve is 16KGS, Or PN1.6-25mpa; 

150LB-2500LB means the pressure unit of that check valve is Pound;

 In Japan standard, the pressure is represented with 5K-63K;

⑹check valve material:Q means the material used for that check valve is ductile cast iron; 

means the material used for that check valve is carbon steel; P means the material used for that check valve is stainless steel 304; 

R means the material used for that check valve is stainless steel 316; 

A means the material used for that check valve is titanium alloy; I means the material used for that check valve is chromium molybdenum steel;
