How a vertical lift check valve works? 

Vertical lift check valve refers to the valve which automatically opens and closes the valve disc by replying on the flow of the medium itself to prevent the back-flow of the medium, it is also known as one way valve, non return valve, back pressure valve, cut off valve. Check valve is one kind of automatic valve whose main function is to prevent the back-flow of the medium, the reverse rotation of the pump and the driving motor, and the discharge of the medium in the container.

How the vertical lifting check valve works? 

Due to the pressure of the medium at the inlet end of the pipeline, the vertical lift check valve is opened or closed by overcoming the resistance of the spring. When the medium pressure at the inlet end is lower than that at the outlet end, the spring pushes the valve plate to the valve seat to close the check valve, to preventing the medium from flowing back. Vertical lift check valve is widely used in chemical industry,and liquefied petroleum industry.
