Brief Introduction of three piece ball valve:

The three piece ball valve has the action of rotating 90 degrees, the cock body is a sphere and there is a circular through hole or channel passing through its axis. The ball valve is mainly used to cut off, distribute and change the flow direction of the medium in the pipeline. It only needs to be rotated 90 degrees and a small torque can achieve tight closure. Two piece ball valve and three piece ball valve are one new type of valve that have been used widely in recent years.

Characteristics of three piece ball valve:

1. the fluid resistance is small, and the full-bore ball valve has almost no flow resistance.
2. Simple in structure, small in size, light in weight.
3. Convenient to operate, rapid to open and close, rotating 90 degree can achieve full opening and closing, easy to control from a distance.
4. East to repair. The ball valve has the simple structure, and the sealing ring is generally movable, and it is more convenient to disassemble and replace.
5. The ball valve has wide range of applications, its diameter can range from several millimeters to several meters, and can be applied from high vacuum to high pressure; the ball valve has wiping properties during the opening and closing process, and can be used for mediums with suspended solid particles.
