According to different materials, gate valves can be divided into gray cast iron gate valves, ductile cast iron gate valves, cast steel gate valves, and stainless steel gate valves; 

Introduction of gray cast iron gate valve: 

Gray cast iron gate valves are used in water systems and installed on water passing pipes. Compared with gate valves made of other materials, gray cast iron gate valves have lower prices and unstable quality. The common used gray cast iron gate valves are rising stem gray cast iron gate valves and non rising stem gray cast iron gate valves. 

Model Nos for gray cast iron gate valves: Z45T-16、Z41T-16、Z15T-16. 

Introduction of ductile cast iron gate valves: 

The ductile cast iron gate valve is an upgrade of the gray cast iron gate valve. Its quality, durability and service life are better than those of the gray cast iron gate valve. However, the ductile cast iron gate valve, like the gray cast iron gate valve, can only be used in water systems, with normal temperature and low pressure pipeline systems. 

There are two types of ductile iron gate valves in sealing structure: rubber soft sealing ductile iron gate valve and copper metal hard sealing ductile iron gate valve. In terms of sealing performance, the rubber soft sealing ductile iron gate valve is better. 

Model Nos for ductile cast iron gate valve: Z45X-16Q、Z41X-16Q、Z45T-16Q、Z41T-16Q、Z945X-16Q、Z941X-16Q. 

Introduction of cast steel gate valve: 

Different from cast iron gate valves, cast steel gate valves are mostly installed and used on high temperature and high pressure pipelines in petroleum, smelting and steam industries. 

Model Nos for cast steel gate valves: Z41H-16C、Z641H-16C、Z941H-16C. 

Introduction of stainless steel gate valves: 

The valve body and sealing material in stainless steel gate valves are both made of stainless steel material, which has excellent anti-corrosion and anti-erosion properties, and is widely used in the chemical industries.
