What is the working temperature for different material valves?

Valve is one switching and controlling device in pipelines, such as gate valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, globe valves, check valves, throttling valves, control valves,strainers,etc. With different material used, valves can be used for different pressure and temperatures. Today we are going to introduce the working temperature ranges for valves with different material: 

For gray cast iron valves, its working temperature range is -15℃~250℃. 

For malleable cast iron valves, its working temperature is: -15℃~250℃. 

For ductile cast iron valves(DI valves in short), its working temperature range is -30℃~350℃. 

For high Nickel cast iron valves, its Maxi working temperature is 400℃. 

For carbon steel valves, its working temperature range is -29℃~450℃. In JB/T3595-93, its recommended working temperature is t＜425℃. 

For 1Cr5Mo alloy steel valves, its maxi working temperature is 550℃. 

For 12Cr1MoVa alloy steel valves, its maxi working temperature is 570℃. 

For 1Cr18Ni9Ti, 1Cr18Ni12Mo2Ti stainless steel valves, its working temperature range is -196℃~600℃. 

For copper alloy valves, its working temperature is -273℃~250℃. 

For plastic valves(Nylon): its maxi working temperature is 100℃. 

For plastic valves(Chlorinated Polyether):its maxi working temperature is 100℃. 

For plastic valves(PVC),its maxi working temperature is 60℃. 

For plastic valves(PTFCE), its working temperature range is -60~120℃. 

For plastic valves(PTFE),its working temperature range is -180~150℃. 

For plastic valves(natural rubber diaphragm valve),its maxi working temperature is 60℃. 

For plastic valves(NBR, Neoprene diaphragm valve), its maxi working temperature is 80℃. 

For plastic valves(FKM diaphragm valves), its maxi working temperature is 200℃. 

Valves can be made of materials like: C(carbon steel), I(1Cr5Mo chromium molybdenum steel),H(Cr13 stainless steel), K(malleable cast iron), L(Aluminum alloy), P( 0Cr18Ni9 stainless steel), PL(00Cr19Ni10 stainless steel), Q(ductile cast iron), R(0Cr12Ni12Mo2 stainless steel), RL(00Cr17Ni14Mo2 stainless steel), S(plastic), T(copper and copper alloy), Ti and Ti alloy, V(cr-mo-v steel), Z(gray cast iron).
