Advantages of cast iron globe valve

1.Compared with gate valve, the structure of cast iron globe valve is simpler, and the cast iron globe valve is more convenient to manufacture and maintain. 

2.The sealing surface of cast iron globe valve is not easy to wear and scratch, the sealing performance of cast iron globe valve is good. There is no relative sliding between the valve disc and the sealing surface of the cast iron globe valve body when opening and closing the globe valve. So the wear and scratch are not serious. The sealing performance of cast iron globe valve is great and the service life is long. 

3.When opening and closing, the stroke of the valve disc of the cast iron globe valve is small, so the height of the cast iron globe valve is smaller than that of the gate valve, but the face to face structural length of the cast iron globe valve is longer than that of the gate valve.

1.The opening and closing torque of cast iron globe valve is large, its opening and closing is laborious, and the opening and closing time is long. 

2.Cast iron globe valves are not suitable for media with particles, high viscosity, and media easy to coke. 

3.The adjustment performance of cast iron globe valve is poor.
