Brief Introduction of foot valve:

Foot valve is one kind of energy-saving valves, usually is installed at the bottom of underwater pipe of the water pump, to prevent the water from flowing back, is one kind of single way valve. Foot valve belongs to lift-type check valve, is installed at the bottom of centrifugal pump, so its called “Foot/Bottom Valve”. When th pump is off, the disc is closed due to self-gravity. When the pump is on, the disc is lifted by the suction, the water will go into the pump. Once the pump is off, the section force disappears, the disc will be closed.
