Introduction of pressure relief valve:

500X pressure relief/pressure holding valve consists of main valve, pressure relief/pressure holding pilot valve,needle valve, ball valve, micro filter and pressure gauge to form a hydraulic control system. Using hydraulic automatic operation, it can be used not only as a pressure relief valve also as a pressure holding valve. When used as a pressure relief valve, it can maintain the water supply pressure below the set safety valve; when used as a pressure holding valve, it can maintain the upstream water pressure of the main valve above the set value, and maintain the upstream water supply pressure of the main valve.

This valve can use the hydraulic power to achieve self-control, and does not need other devices and energy. It is easy to maintain, and can be used for multiple purpose.

How the 500X pressure relief/pressure holding valve works ?

1. how it works as the pressure relief valve:when that pressure relief/pressure holding pilot valve is adjusted to the state of pressure relief, the water flows to the outlet through the needle valve, the main valve control room, the ball valve A, the pressure relief/pressure holding pilot valve, and the ball valve B, and now the main valve is in the open state. When the inlet pressure exceeds the safety set by the pressure relief/pressure holding pilot valve, the pressure relief pilot valve will automatically open, and part of the water will be released through the ball valve C to relieve the pipeline pressure. When the pressure returns to a safe value, the pressure relief valve closes automatically. When it works as a pressure relief valve, all ball valves are normally in open state.
2. How it works as the pressure holding valve:when the pressure relief/pressure holding pilot valve is adjusted to the pressure holding state, as long as the inlet water pressure of the main valve is lower than the set value of the pilot valve, the pilot valve will be closed. When the pressure of the main control room is boosted and the main valve will be closed. When the upstream water supply pressure of the main valve exceeds the set pressure of the pilot valve, the pressure holding pilot valve will be open. The water in the control room will be discharged to the outlet through the ball valve, when the pressure of the control room reduces, the main valve will open, and start to supply the water, that is, the upstream water pressure is maintained. When used as a pressure holding valve, the ball valve C is normally closed or replaced with a plug.
