Cast steel valves are one of many valve types and are manufactured from cast steel(carbon steel). the applicable temperature of cast steel valves is ≤425℃, and the applicable mediums of cast steel valve is water, oils, natural gas, etc. The common used cast steel valves are: cast steel ball valve, cast steel gate valve, cast steel check valve, cast steel globe valve, cast steel strainer, etc.
Cast steel valve material code:
Cast steel materials(WCA,WCB,WCC) are suitable for pipes with nominal pressure PN≤40Mpa, working temperature is between -29~ 425℃, the working temperature for 16Mn、30Mn is between -29~595℃, which is often used to replace ASTM A105. for cast steel materials, the commonly used grades are: WC1, WCB, ZG25,high quality steel 20,25,30, and low-alloy structural steel 16Mn.
Introduction for Model No. of cast steel valve:
Q41H-16C: Q represents ball valve, 4 stands for flange connection, 1 is for straight-through type structure. H represents the sealing surface is Cr 13 series of stainless steel. 16 means the nominal pressure is 16 KGS(or 1.6Mpa).
Z11F-10C:Z represents gate valve, 1 stands for internal thread connection, 1 stands for single valve plate. F means the sealing surface is lined with PTFE seal. 10 means the nominal pressure is 10KGS(1.0Mpa).
D373W-20C:D represents butterfly valve, 3 stands for worm gear box driving. 7 is for wafer type connection; 3 stands for triple eccentric structure; W represents the sealing material is using the valve body seal; 20 represents the nominal pressure is 20KGS(2.0Mpa).
