What is signal fire protection butterfly valve?-Belo Valve

1. definition of signal butterfly valve: 

Signal fire protection butterfly valve is one kind of throttling equipment, including wafer fire protection signal butterfly valve and grooved fire protection signal butterfly valve, suitable for high rising building fire protection and other pipeline systems which needs to display valve switch status; fire protection signal butterfly valve is widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, food, medicine, paper-making, hydro power, ships, water supply and drainage, smelting, it can be used as a regulating and throttling equipment on various corrosive and non-corrosive gas, liquid, semi-fluid and solid power pipelines and containers. 

2. Working principle of fire protection signal butterfly valve: 

2.1. the fire protection signal butterfly valve is driven by the worm gear box,which drives the valve stem to rotate the valve disc to realize the opening and closing of the signal butterfly valve; 

2.2. Rotating the hand wheel on the worm gear box, so that the butterfly plate can achieve the opening and closing and adjustment of the flow. Rotating the hand wheel clockwise to close the signal butterfly valve; 

2.3. There are two forms of micro switches in the worm gear box of the fire protection signal butterfly valve: 

A. There are two micro switches in the transmission device box of the signal butterfly valve,Opening direction and closing direction, which act respectively when the butterfly valve is fully open and close, connect the indicator lights “ON/OFF”in the control room, to display the switch status of the signal butterfly valve; 

B. There is a micro switch in the transmission box of the signal butterfly valve(it switch stay in 0° position when the signal butterfly valve is fully closed). when the switch rotate to 90°, the signal butterfly valve is in fully open position; 

3. Structure characteristics of fire protection signal butterfly valve: 

3.1. the signal butterfly valve is small in size and light in weight, easy to disassemble and maintain, and can be installed in any position; 

3.2.The signal butterfly valve has simple and compact structure, and can be opened and closed quickly by rotating 90°. 

3.3. The operating torque of signal butterfly valve is small, it is labor saving. 

3.4. The signal butterfly valve can realize complete sealing, and can realize zero leakage in gas test; 

3.5. With different material used, signal butterfly valve can be used for different mediums; 

3.6. The flow characteristics of the signal butterfly valve tend to be straight, and its adjustment performance is good; 

3.7. The signal butterfly valve can be opened and closed for more than 10,000 times, and its service life is long; 

3.8. Those gate valves, check valves, plug valves and diaphragm valves especially in the high rise building fire protection systems and pipeline systems which needs to display the switch status of valves, can be replaced with signal butterfly valves.
